The Rotary Peace Fellowship Program was established with the aim of instructing upcoming peacebuilders who will operate on a global scale to foster positive transformation.Fellows from this fellowship program can avail the opportunity of modern global networking. Furthermore, they can get a chance to work on an international level and make a network that will help in their future goals. This can enhance their skills and abilities. Rotary is a network of 1.4 million leaders and problem solvers who work together to improve their communities, the world and themselves. Another aim of Rotary is to make this world a better place in terms of education, peace, health etc. They are working on it to get the most possible outcomes.
The Rotary peace fellowship program has developed partnerships with well-known universities that host the Rotary Peace centres. Through academic training, practice, and worldwide networking opportunities, the centres empower, educate, and strengthen the capacity of peacebuilders. Opportunities for these fully sponsored fellowships are extended to worthy young leaders globally, who hold the aspiration to engage in studies at any of our centers dedicated to peace. To achieve the intended goals, a fully financed international fellowship has been granted. Fellows will participate in activities and practices that have the potential to impact the world through this programme. Academic instruction, a workshop series, applied field experience, networking, and a final seminar are all components of the international fellowship programme.
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is separated into two categories to ensure that only the most qualified, deserving, and suitable individuals are considered. The Rotary Scholarships cater to students pursuing master’s degrees, whereas the Rotary Fellowships are designed for those enrolled in professional development certificate programs. These programmes are primarily concerned with topics of peace and development. Selected fellows will be trained at the top institutes by the best research-informed lecturers. Students will join a varied learning community where they will learn from experts.
Professionals who participate in this Rotary Professional Development programme engage with top-tier professionals and gain practical skills over the course of a year.
